Why register?

As a registered user, you will be able to enjoy the following features and benefits:

Personalised information – by indicating your scientific and regional focus all related information will be automatically brought to your personal zone.
Networking possibilities – you have the access to contact data of other WBC-INCO.NET users looking for cooperation and networking possibilities.
Own news and event announcements – you have the possibility to disseminate your own news and event announcements – by yourself.
Furthermore, you can enter your organisation or project in our databases, post an item on the notice-board and a lot more.

What personal information do we collect and for what purpose?

While most parts of the WBC-INCO.NET website are publicly visible, you need to create and log into your personal account e.g. to submit your own articles or to access personal contact information provided by other users (unless they have agreed that their contact information is made publicly available for all our visitors or unless they want to keep their contact details private).

To register, you only need to fill in the user name, first name, last name, email address and country of origin while additional information may be provided on a voluntary basis. Please note that it is up to you to share your contact details with other WBC-INCO.NET users OR with all our readers (also not registered users) OR to keep your contact details absolutely private. You can change the privacy settings any time in your profile settings.

WBC-INCO.NET preserves the right not to activate/to delete user accounts which an administrator considers as problematic or questionable. Please understand that the use of obvious fake names can easily create this impression, so please use your real name to create an account.

WBC-INCO.NET will keep all your contact information, including your email address, absolutely confidential and only use it to send you information concerning the project and your personal web account (different reminders such a password reminder etc.). The data provided will not be shared with third parties for any purpose.
